Found this in my notes….
To those who fill like ministry is impossible because of your family lineage. I can’t help but think of Christ and His lineage. It consisted of murderers, adulterers and deceivers. Even prostitutes are mentioned. It wasn’t pretty by any means.
God doesn’t not elect the unimpeachable. He does not always elect of the “holier than thou”. In fact and to me it is a mystery as well as a testimony of His Grace and Mercy, but many times in scripture He does the opposite just look at Paul.
You have worth in the kingdom. Do not count yourself out.
